Surgery Waiting Area/Short Stay Services

Upon arriving to the Surgery Waiting Area, located in the southeast corner of the hospital adjacent to the Emergency Department, visitors should check-in with the volunteer at the service desk.

Throughout a patient's surgical procedure, this volunteer will provide periodic updates to family and friends as condition reports about their loved ones become available.

The Surgery Waiting Room's service desk is staffed from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. If no volunteer is on duty, surgery staff members will keep visitors informed of a patient's progress.
