There are currently 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States, and breast cancer survival rates are increasing every year. This is likely because of early detection due to increased awareness, better education, and sophisticated technology.

Recognizing a need for a unified approach to breast care, University Community Hospital designed the Breast Care Center. This state-of-the art digital facility in Tampa offers clinical and support services beginning at screening and following through treatment.

The Breast Care Center provides the highest quality of imaging and the most advanced treatment options for breast care in a friendly and calming environment.

We provide all diagnostic testing in our single, convenient, comfortable location. No more traveling all around town for different tests and procedures.

Our goal is to provide screening mammography results within seven days and same-day results for diagnostic mammography and diagnostic ultrasound. Biopsy pathology results will be available in five days.

Physicians — including breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, breast imaging radiologists and pathologists — lead our multidisciplinary team. Our team approach assures the highest level of screening and treatment options specific to each patient.
