Delivering care, but only with your help
University Community Hospital, UCH-Carrollwood, and Pepin Heart Hosptial serve a wonderful local community and provide the members of our community with a full range of health care services, treatments, procedures, diagnostics and health education programs.
Each day we bring another baby into the world, or replace a knee and let a senior walk unaided again.
Each day we scan and X-ray; check for cancer and hope for remission.
Each day we're here - each night and each weekend - we're here.
Delivering care is a costly endeavor in this world of high technology and every day we see where the right equipment, the right space, the right number of staff - can make a difference in a person's life.
Breast Care Center at Univeristy Community Hospital
Your community is ready for an advanced, full service, Breast Care Center working hand-in-hand with the community hospital they rely on for their health care.
"Our community deserves a breast center of this stature and I am passionate about our ability to offer these services to meet the needs of not only our patients, but also those people that are the support group for our patients.
My role as Clinical Navigator was created to be that spirit of support and a resource for the patient through what can be a daunting and frightening experience.
I will ensure they have results from diagnostic mammograms the day of the procedure. I will facilitate timely appointments in their imaging and biopsy process. I will assist in scheduling my patients' follow up care and be a liasion with all other care providers in my patients' treatment. "

We are committed to this dream. Your gift will ensure Theresa, and the other caregivers like her, have what they need to keep the promises she makes to her patients. Her patients ... your friends, family and neighbors.
The Women's Center at University Community Hospital's
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cares for moret han 300 critically ill and premature babies each year. Some of these babies are born here and have to move over to the unit. Others come from other hospitals, others became ill at home and had to come in. Our Level III designation allows us to care for Tampa's tiniest newborns.
As the number of NICU babies continues to grow. Your contribution could make the difference in whether we can be there for a sick baby that needs to come to us for the very special care that only we deliver in this area.
If not us, who will be there for them? Make your donation today and designate it for The Women's Center's NICU.
These are just two of the major areas that have great missions to accomplish and need financial assistance from the same people that may some day need their care - the members of our community.
