Don and Betty Lau Society
In a visionary and generous demonstration of support and commitment, Don and Betty Lau created a million-dollar legacy to benefit our hospital and our community. Both Don and Betty served as untiring advocates for Univeristy Community Hospital and the UCH Foundation.
Don began his involvement with the Foundation in 1994, serving on the Diabetes Golf Classic Committee. In addition, as Chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees, he provided leadership in charting a course for the long term viability and success of the Foundation. Betty served on the Starlight Ball Committee since its inception, devoting countless hours to ensuring the success of this gala event.
The Don and Betty Lau Planned Giving Society has been established to recognize those who have created gifts to benefit University Community Hospital Foundation through their estate plans.
